Almost 30 years ago, stone sculptor Edel Gillebo went from Sunnmøre to Greece to become a nun. Now she is back with several sisters to build a monastery 350 meters above sea level.

Before every seremony, one of the nuns go around the house with a plank called "talendo" to call for worship.

The nuns have at least three seremonies every day. They start at 5 AM, then 10 AM and the last at 5 PM.

When the nuns moved to Norddal in 2014, they got seven hens and one rooster to have in their garden.

The nuns are pretty handy.

This is abbess Thavoria standing on the edge on the property where the monastery one day will be. The property are 350 meters above sea levels and on the mountain "Syltefjellet" in Valldal.
